Contact details you give us via our quote form: name, email, company, phone (optional).
Project details: the process, quantity, materials and notes you submit.
CAD files you upload, stored on EU-hosted servers and shared only with the factory required to produce your part, under NDA.
Technical data automatically collected: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL.
Cookies and tracking pixels: Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tags — only set after you accept via our cookie banner.

3. Why we use it

To respond to your quote request and deliver the manufacturing service.
To send you transactional emails about your order.
To measure the performance of our marketing and advertising.
To comply with our legal and tax obligations.

4. Lawful basis (UK GDPR)

We process your data on the basis of (a) contract performance when you request a quote, (b) legitimate interest for analytics and service improvement, and (c) your consent for marketing cookies and pixels.

5. Who we share it with

Our manufacturing partners in China, under written NDAs — limited to the data needed to make your part.
Service providers: Web3Forms (form hosting), Cloudflare or Vercel (web hosting), Resend or similar (email), Stripe (if you pay us).
Tax and legal authorities where legally required.

We do not sell your data.

6. International transfers

To deliver our service, CAD files and project details are shared with manufacturing partners in China. We do so under standard contractual clauses and supplementary safeguards. By submitting a quote you acknowledge this transfer.

7. How long we keep it

Quote requests: 24 months. Order data: 7 years (UK tax requirement). Marketing data: until you withdraw consent. CAD files: deleted within 90 days of project completion unless you ask us to retain them.

8. Your rights

Under UK and EU GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email privacy@forgeline.app. You can also complain to the UK ICO (ico.org.uk) or your local EU data protection authority.

We use essential cookies to run the site. With your consent, we also use:
